This is a drive planned in the Appalachian mountains of south-central PA. Most of the group so far are members of the Delaware Valley, Mid Atlantic, and Allegheny groups.

This will include VERY twisty roads. Just like your S2000 is made for! All driving levels will be tolerated, the front runners will allow the group(s) to recompress frequently.

* If you plan to attend, please give your forum name, real name, what model/color car you have, how many will be in your car, and where you are from. I have listed everyone who showed interest in the original "show of hands."

* This is an S2000-only ride.

* The date is Sunday September 22.

* THE RIDE HAS NOT BEEN RAINED OUT.

* This will be a bring-your-own picnic lunch at a midpoint. We will start from a place where you can purchase lunch items.

* The meeting place is a total of about 30 miles West of Hagerstown MD. along I-68. If you are coming through Hagerstown, it's just over 30 miles total, use I-70 West (25 miles from I-81) to get to Interstate 68 West.

* The end will be in Chambersburg, PA... which is near where I-30 and I-81 meet.

*Hand-out (text) directions will be available at the beginning of the drive. You can print out color maps from the following post, which also contains directions how to get to the starting point:

* Talkabout "FRS" radios will be used for directions, cautions from the front, and keeping the group(s) together. If you have a radio or two, please bring them along. If not, you will be fine... we just make sure the leader, middle, and rear of the pack have radios.

* The ride will end up at a neighborhood bar&grille around 4:00 or so, where we will have part of the deck reserved. About 3 hours actual driving time, broken up into two major stints.
