Any advice for euro WRC/F1 trips?
"Howdy" (to identify myself as the intruding American
)
Inspired by the American LeMans Series/Grand Prix here in Washington DC last weekend, I'm looking at planning a trip over that direction next spring for a racing extravaganza and thought some folks might have suggestions or resources to get me going in the right direction. At present it looks like a small group of friends (fewer than 10):
Assuming the dates are about the same for 2003 as 2002...
April 18-21 - WRC Cyrpus
April 22-27 - Enjoy the Mediterranean
April (26-27?) 28 - Barcelona Grand Prix
So I've never thought about putting something like this together before but want to do it at least for myself and a few friends. Any thoughts, assistance, interest would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

Hi Chris!
Nice to see you over here on the UK board.
(those who don't know - AnimeS2k is who designed our calling cards
)
There was a Euro S2ki meet this summer that I attended, we drove down through France to Barcelona for the grand prix and had a great time.
If you do go to watch the F1 book tickets early and try and get in the Grandstand near the end of the pit straight as this is the best action on the track, we were in the slow speed infield section near the end of the lap and it was a bit too slow - sounded great though!
Don't forget the sun screen too
Barcelona is an amazing city, the culture and pace of life is fantastic, it really is my favorite city now! So much to see and do in the city and its a good place to base out of to see the South of France (e.g Cote D'Azure, Monaco etc.) and Northern Spain too.
Hopefully there will be some more suggestions posted on here for you.
