Default Car Detailing

Hey guys. My name is Matt, and I have been in the detailing business for about 5 years now. I have done probably a hundred cars or more, anything from 1982 MR2's, to 1957 Bel-Air's, to 2009 BMW M series cars. I have done just about anything and everything you can think of. Most of the detailing I do takes place in the summer, but when there is a good day in the winter, I don't hesitate to jump on it. I have posted on TAC's website a few years back, a detailing thread as well. I have detailed several members cars on there, including Tim's ACR Neon, Paul Ballance's 2003 Duramax 2500, Alan's Mustang GT, etc. Anyway, i'll let the pictures do all the talking.

I offer 2 different waxes. One is Meguiars, which can be bought at any parts store, walmart, etc. I also offer Zaino, which is a high dollar show car wax. This is the only wax that touches any of my cars anymore. It is very good stuff, and not very much will stick to it in the way of dirt, grease, etc.
Here is what is included in a detail:

Strip wax
Clay bar
Re-wash
Remove swirl marks, minor scratches
Multiple coats of paint cleaner
1 coat of wax (Meguiars) 3 coats of wax (Zaino)
Clean all door jambs, trunk jambs, etc.
Clean under hood
Clean Engine
Clean all glass, plastic, dash-board, etc.
Vacuum carpets and seats (steam clean if needed)
Tire shine (optional)

Regular prices are : Cars with Meguiars: $100
Cars with P21S-$115
Cars with Zaino show car polish-$125
Cars with Wekstat Paint sealant-$135
Cars with Werkstat topped with Zaino-$160
Trucks/SUV's/Van's with Meguiars-$125
Trucks/SUV's/Van's with P21S-$140
Trucks/SUV's/Van's with Zaino show car polish-$150
Trucks/SUV's/Van's with Werkstat Paint Sealant-$160
Trucks/SUV's/Van's with Werkstat topped with Zaino-$210
I will be offering a discount for people who bring me more than one vehicle! You don't have to bring me more than one yourself, you can refer a friend, family member, etc. The discount still applies. Basically I'm giving money to you for referrals. Just tell them to mention you when they bring their car by and I'll throw some money your way

I will get pictures up shortly. Here is a link to some of my pictures for now:

I have seen Matt's work and it is exceptional. He will be doing my car in the next couple of weeks or so.

All good things were said in the TAC/TVR area where he did some of the racers cars and I have seen them after they were done, all of which looked great.

YellowCR, where are you located? I have never done a detail somewhere other than my home, but if you aren't too far, then I may give it a shot. I had another member ask me if I would travel to Birmingham to do a detail as well. While i'm not totally opposed to the idea of traveling, I would have to be given gas money as well to compensate. If not, I would end up losing money. Somewhere as far as Birmingham (Being a four hour round trip) probably wouldn't be able to be done in a day. It usually takes me about 8-10 hours for a full detail on a normal size car. The S2k is a little smaller, so I guesstimate about 6-8 hours. It may be possible, but I may die on the way back home lol. Just give me a heads up of when you want to do something, and i'll try to work with you. I do work full time during the week, so my only option is a weekend.

Thanks for everyone's replies, and thanks a lot for the compiments Kerm

Matt

No problem Matt. You do good work and I'm probably the only one that has seen it personally. I let a lot of people drive my co-drive my car in auto-x, but there is only a select few I trust to work on it.

I look forward to meeting you tomorrow, I'm sure I'll remember your face when I see you. A lot of racing coming up

It looks as if I have got 2 people from Birmingham that are now interested in having me do a detail on their S2k's. If enough people want this done, i'll travel. Thanks again for all of your interest. Looking forward to meeting you guys.
