Is this a leftover supercharger part on my car?

Default Is this a leftover supercharger part on my car?

I'm sure a picture would be helpful, but since I don't have one I'll try to describe it. The previous owner of my car had a supercharger that he removed before selling the car to me. The main part I'm confused about is what looks like a small radiator mounted vertically on the right side of my existing stock radiator, with a hose coming up into my engine bay near the coolant bottle. I don't remember such a part from my previous stock AP2. One side of the hose is attached to the this radiator thing, and the other side is literally going to nothing. Looks like it was just cut away from whatever it used to be attached to.

The car runs fine and is not leaking fluid, which leaves me to believe this part is unnecessary to my stock car. If I had to guess, I would assume it is a cooler of some sort... but to be honest I've never looked around a supercharged S2K's engine bay, so I just don't know exactly what I'm looking at. I just want to make sure it's nothing important. If I don't need it, I will probably just remove it from my car if it won't hurt.

*EDIT: This is not a pic of my car. I found a pic of something similar... except the one on my car is the same silver color as the stock radiator, and not black like the one in this pic:

Ha, so I take it it's an oil cooler? I'd be happy to sell whatever it is for a pretty cheap price.

Its the supercharger heat exchanger. Just get rid of it, or sell it to someone on here.
