Default Wheel powdercoating in the area?

I'm looking at powdercoating a set of wheels.

First off, anyone have experience with this? I understand that overheating the wheels can weaken them and lead the cracks, but that it shouldn't be a problem if done correctly.

Second, any shop recommendations? I always heard people say Fosters in Seattle... but apparently they shut down.

J&D

I have had 2 sets of wheels done here and they do great work.
they usually run specials with colors on over stock.

Yup, their website says $55/wheel for prep coating in certain colors (mostly black.) I'm planning go go with a black/satin finish kind of like this:

Well I'm quite impressed with these guys already. I dropped them an email with some questions and they quickly got back to me with a detailed description of their process and all the metallurgy behind exactly how and to what extent powder coating can affect forged aluminum.

How hot do they plan to get the wheels during the process?

As far as our cure process for powder coated wheels we use a temp range of 400 °F to 420 °F for about 35 to 45 minutes (with a 10 minute Gel time at 325 °F)
which typically allows the the substrate's temp to reach the recommend cure temp range of >380 °F to 400 °F for about 15 to 20 minutes maximum.
