Default MDX two piston front brake calipiers at s2k?

Hi,
anybody tried to swap front brake calipiers from 2004+ Acura MDX to s2k? (OEM part number 45018-STX-A01)They had 2 pistons and should fit for oem s2k rotors (MDX had 11,8 inch rotor too). What do you think about it?? Did MDX calipier bracket fit to s2k or not??

thanks for any answer!

I don't think anyone tried MDX calipers yet, but we got the Accord calipers (single piston, but bigger than stock) to work.

I know for a fact that you can install Honda CRV 2009 Double piston front calipers.

^ any info on this would be appreciated, for curiosity's sake...

does the crv use the same diameter/thickness/height rotor as the s2k? caliper braket is a direct bolt on or any modifications required? crv brake piston diameters? etc.

i don't really see a major advantage to running the 2 pistons caliper vs. Accord's one piston caliper. they use same size pads and same size rotors. there's already concern that the Accord caliper will give too much front brake bias because of the larger pads and larger pistons. the two pistons caliper is probably heavier also. the Accord single piston is 3 lbs heavier than stock.

also, you can get brand new Accord Calipers for $75 each where as the MDX calipers are $175 each.

gotta start looking into retrofits for the rear brake upgrades then if everyones worried about brake bias!
