Looking at the instructions (not reading, cause I can't.. Japanese at least).. I see a figure which i suspect is the torque setting:

4.0kgf*m. Not sure what the 'f' is for, unless the kgf translates into Newtons.. in any case I havent bothered to do the conversion yet..

f is for force.
I get 4 kgf*m = 28.864 lbf*ft (somebody better check my work, it's late)

y'all rule.

so we're looking at 4.0kgf*m for the Xbrace (aka 28.864 lbf*ft) and 5.0kgf*m for the STB (aka 36.08 lbf*ft)?

i'm a math casualty so who knows if the math is right - i know *i* can't check it (grin).

4 pounds of force
2.2 lb per kilo
1 ft = .3048 Meters

4 X 2.2 = 8.8 pound of force

8.8 / .3048= 28.871391076

Pretty close.....it's not horse shoes ya know
