Default S2000 loses its horsepower per liter record

Just read in motor trend about the 2010 Ferrari 458 italia. Beautiful car with a 4.5 liter v8 producing 557 horses giving it 123.78 horses per liter. This beats the jdm spec s2000 with 247 horses and 123.5 horse per liter and our usdm and edm spec with 237 horses and 118.5 horse per liter. This of course is concerning naturally aspirated and does not include Mazda's rotary.

s2000 is still proud even after 10 yrs.

Bingo and the F cah is reputed to start at 150K, gee for 5x more than a new S2k ya think they could do better than barely beat it

i like the deformable front panels on the 458. that's sick stuff that requires some serious engineering and r&d.

s2000 is still an incredible car.
