Audiworld.com reviews S2000 vs. TT 225 Roadster
I was checking out Audiworld.com and they have a great review of the S2000 vs. the TT 225 Roadster. Check it out at http://www.audiworld.com/news/01/tt_s2000/index.html
I've seen this review from Automotive-review.com before, but it's nice to see it on the Audi site since the reviewer favors the S2000 in a lot of cases.
For example: "All in all the TT is a fine car. Smooth, powerful, quiet and offers a comfortable ride for relaxed touring, profiling and general use. It is not a die-hard sports car, but is fun to drive none-the-less. The S2000 on the other hand is a car that was created for the single purpose of socially irresponsible driving, a dream car for the true enthusiast. After getting out of the S2000 every other car feels heavy, cumbersome, imprecise, untrustworthy and just plain less fun. It is the one car I desire for myself more than any other."
Take care,
Andrew

That's an excellent article. I assumed from the URL that it was going to be strongly pro-Audi, but I think it was very objective (and therefore strongly pro-Honda, naturally...).
And the reviewer truly "got it:" 1. The cars are for totally different people. 2. If you don't like Honda's empty dashboard, get another car. 3. If you're too heavy, lose weight or suffer. It's not Honda's problem. 4. For the price, you're luck to get any features at all. There's at least that much money in the engine and chassis.
And so on. He even figured out that 5th gear is useless for accelerating (unless you're on a superspeedway). It's good for cruising in 50-60 mph traffic, and not much more.
Thanks for posting that.

Very interesting review though.

sure they rated the S2000 well, but this article is actually there for them to try and bring the TT up to the level of the S2000. I completely disagree with this, the Audi TT should not be compared to the S2000 in any sport way. the S2000 is a purposely hand build balls out uniquely designed sports car. the Audi TT is a sporty cruzing car. I would not call a car built on a VW passenger car platform a sports car or compare it to a Boxster or S2000. I think it will follow the tradition of all VW
