Default 15w-30 performance oil?

does anybody think it would be bad when i switch over to synthetic at 10k miles to use mobil ones 15w-30 it says on the bottle its for high performance engines which i think our engines are. i know we are suppost to use 10w-30 but i don't really think it would hurt our cars. what do you people think?

USE 10W30....use what those Brilliant Japanese Engineers reccomend.....they know what is best.

10k miles is ok to switch to synthetic. When I hit 6k miles(10k kms) I will be switching over.

Mobil 1 10W30 Synthetic

Simple

15W-30: I don't think it would hurt, in cold climates it just takes longer for the oil to heat up. 10w-30 is just a all year round oil.

Why are you so insistant??? Honda says to use 10W-30 and you say that 15W-30 should be O.K.. Do you know something Honda engineers don't? If you use that oil, your warranty goes out the window. Plus, I saw somewhere here that a new engine costs $10,000.

If you drive in hot weather and at high rpm 10W-30 will damage your engine.
