It is the first time for both of us and though I have read the FAQs I am still nervous. So, any support/advice on the day from anyone else going would be most welcome.
Tempting, but I really need to be ploughing funds into my house rather than V-Power and Potenzas.
Enjoy the day, you're in good hands with MSE. They run a good event and police it well having a word those that are get a bit too enthusiastic to keep everything safe. The instructors are great too, and will ruthlessly take the p*ss after encouraging you to improve your ways
Hi, going with a friend on the 28/5/2010. It will be a first for both of us aswell, we might come and have a look and a chat on the 30th so we know what to expect. Will.
Well, the weather wasn’t as bad as predicted. A few light showers which made the track surface....interesting.
Lots of Caterhams, elises porches and 1 other S. Held my end up against most of them but not the GT3 (obviously). I did have a tuition session and am not sure this was worth it but did get good advice about lines and gears etc.
I think Motorsport did a great job in organising and policing even if I did get a black flag
Would I do it again you betcha!
ps 'TheT0nemeister' it was open pit-lane (now I know what that is). I got more track time than the brakes and (an adrenalin level) could handle so, yes, it was worth it.
