Default Still have an idling problem . . .

When I get out of gear, and go into neutral as I'm coming to a stop, the RPM's drop to almost zero, and sometimes the car stalls out . . . If I shut off the car, and restart it, the car will idle fine until I get back into gear and drive for a bit, as soon as I go back into neutral, it happens again.

I've replaced the spark plugs, MAP sensor, and idle air controller valve . . . and I still have this idling problem . . . it might have even gotten worse!!!

What else could be the problem? I haven't been able to detect any vacuum leaks, but I supposed there could still be one somewhere. Could it be the injectors?

The car is going to be parked for 3 months this summer and if I don't get this problem resolved before then, I'm probably just gonna sell the damn thing.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

I few friend with s2000's put in the t1r voltage stabilizer and that seemed to help with this problem. though there cars never stalled out...

i get that too but i think its my cat getting clogged up. i guess not enough back pressure. once i install my test pipe we will see if that was the problem.

I already have a test-pipe on my car . . . so I don't think that's it.

The car runs fine in gear, and has no problems . . . it is only when I go into neutral after coming out of gear.

I don't know if it's not getting enough air or fuel or what . . .

I've read that Injectors could cause this, but I'm not getting any misfire codes or anything

. . . got a suggestion to get some carb cleaner, spray it in there, and see if maybe it'll clear up some crap that might be clogging it up

I don't know if it's applicable for the S2000, but in my '01 Mazda Protege, similar symptoms were related to the EGR valve sticking...

No S2000 has ever had a EGR valve.
