Thought this would be really fun while the nite weather is ok..not much of a window here!

This weekend might be the best...and there is a midnite show this friday and sat.
I was thinking this saturday but i need votes and interest!!!

A Nightmare on Elm st is this weekend...not sure whats playing next week for a midnite show....

Its between Orlando and Tampa so everyone could attend and not have to drive to far

need more lead in time IMHO... I cant commit to anything this weekend because we are planning and preping for mothers day.


I am up for doing this in a couple of weeks maybe. we got Iron man 2: S2000 night coming up next week in tampa etc.

this weekend is just too close of notice for me... Sorry...

we should vote on a friday or saturday night event and go from there. If there is a schedule of showings for those days, lets see a link or post them up if you have them.


And for future reference you dont need my permission to post an event in the FL forum. You may need permission to post in some of the regional forums but a heads up thread in the main forum should be OK in all respects.

IMO Just pick a night and a movie (Iron Man 2 sounds good and should appeal to most people) then start a sign up.

The problem with asking for everyone’s opinion is you will get it and you will never make everyone happy.

I would suggest something other than IronMan 2 just because we have a tampa S2000 movie night already being planned: https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=786379

that would effectively kill half your target audience.


The date is probably the most important thing, though. I would sit through just about anything to go to a drive in with a bunch of S2000's. But if you go for a movie we already have a meet designated for you may lose a bunch of potential attendees.

something like that....some of those start in june but would give plenty of time to plan.

Im shooting for the midnight show......I hope Robin Hood is playing that time...but shrek 3 is opening that weekend...(i really hate thoes shrek movies..LOL)
A-Team opens in june/july...too hot that time of the year! But it wouldda been a perfect movie.

Aw man sure wish I didn't work that night. THis would be a hoot. Makes me think of that old Cheech & Chong routine....sneaking the guys into the drive-in in the trunk. Funny shizit.
