Might be a repost. But, I'm trying to play catch up on my reading. The December 2009 (page 28) asks its magazine staff if they could put together the ultimate car from their favorite parts. Note the following parts to assemble the ultimate car:

BODY: Porsche 550 Spyder

INTERIOR: Bentley

ENGINE: Porsche V10-5.7

TRANSMISSION: Honda S2000

SUSPENSION: Porsche

BRAKES: Porsche GT3

TIRES: Pirelli P-Zero

SOUND: Bang & Olusen


Pretty good company to be associated with. Where are all of the super car mentions?

LULZ. i would never have selected the s2k trans. however, the motor woulda been at the top of the list. any 2.2L that can hold 500whp+ pump gas on stock hi CR is very well built.

trans is a weak point on the car.

 

The tranny is smooth as butter. Just because it wasn't built to handle double the stock power doesn't mean it's a weak point.
