Default Painted Emblems

Hey guys i wanted to doing something to my S without spending much money and i already had some flat black paint laying around. I took off the emblems and painted them both flat black. I already debadged the side emblems so i didn't do those. Everything i used was primer for plastic, flat black spray paint, dental floss, and some 3M double sided tape.

First thing i did was use the dental floss under both emblems and just saw them off, it came off in like 2 seconds.

If you have some goo gone or something like that you can take the access glue off the bumper and fender but i didnt have any so i skipped that step.
Next i put both emblems on some newspaper and sprayed them with some plastic primer and let that sit for about 45 minutes.

Then it was time to paint. I sprayed it completely with one coat and then waited an hour to do the second.

I let it dry over night and then put it on my car this morning using the 3M two sided tape.

Rear:

When i was putting it on this morning i scratched it a little and took some of the paint off, so i think next weekend im gonna touch it up and make it look sick.
If you have any questions let me know, this is my first write up so any help won't hurt.

So, the only thing you need to do to reattach the emblems is the double sided tape?

Also, can you post some pics from a further distance?

Yea the same paint i use came in glossy black but i went with the flat black to match my powdercoated wheels

If i had a black car i would definitely have white wheels and then i would match everything else to that IMO.
