Hey I jsut picked up an '06 S2000 and I have seen this light (appears white) come on a couple of times, but have been unable to figure out what it's for. Although pictured, it's function not listed in the manual.

It's the round dot to the left of the gas gauge.

 

i think thats your oem security light.
it blinks when you arm/lock your car

 

you just wanted to flash the low miles

its the vtec indicator.

Don't think so... I think it would be obvious if it were coming on that often!

 

it comes on everytime you wonder where the super secret compartment is....

its for the OEM alarm. if it doesnt flash you dont have one.

 

Maybe your car has an alarm and you didn't know it
