So my soft top was out, and while it wasnt HARD, it was freaking time consuming just because you have to take EVERYTHING out. Roll bars, tray, everything plastic.. I fabricated some brackets to hold my hardtop in place, and while i was glaring at my heavy ass soft top in the corner... i was wondering if anyone has thought to try and use the seal around the window onto a mugen style hardtop.. I'm tempted to try since I'm replacing the seals on the HT and repairing some paint and a crack in the FRP.

using the soft top window seals has been done before, tho I haven't seen it person. If you do, post up pics and opinion.
