PISSED!! Top ripped.. and seats stolen. Suggestions for a good security system?

Had my wheel caps and antenna stolen two weeks ago... and yesterday I walk out to my car in the apartment basement garage and find the top cut open and my two seats gone!! (and the gear knob..)
You wouldn't believe how nice(?) a job these guys did. Used a very sharp knife, knew exactly where to cur and not a dent on the car. Just the two seats and the shift knob gone. No wires ripped. They even put the seat bolts together on the floor....
Should have known that my car was targeted when they stole the caps.STUPUD STUPID STUPID... I thought San Diego was a sunny happy-go-happy city.... Now... with the theft and the shooting ... I'm not so sure. Just hope that this rain clears up by the time my s2k comes home....
Please help me out here guys.... any recommendations for a good security system?
Those of you in San Diego...share this darkness with me and please recommend a good shop if you know any.

Personally, I recently red and am considering something called the "G4" system(??), but I forgot the manufacturers name. It is some kind of system with which you can switch off the car remotely via the phone. It will also call you up when the alarm goes of etc...
It would be really sad if any of us would need that though
On a lighter note: How do you like your Elan??????? If it was for sale here in the US, I might have bought that instead of my stook (but now you won't hear me complain though!!)

does anyone remember an old TV show quite a few years back when the cars all had this electrified field for security? if that was legal i'd do it. i know for sure that you can get things of that nature from this firm in Israel (saw it on Discovery Channel), but it's probably illegal as hell.

Yeah... I am not sure I'll ever get a good nights sleep now even with a thousand dollar system installed.
About the Elan... The base is almost exactly same as the original elan... The shocks and the springs must go though. Most people get Eibach springs.. Shocks depends on personality but I think most people use Korean brand.
I don't know about the original turbo charged 1.6 the Elan had as a Lotus but the Kia 1.8 definitely lacks in power. 0-100km/h is around low 8s normally. Most people say that things would have been very different if it had the Hyundai 1.8 with the shorter stroke. I had mine turbocharged but like all major aftermarket mods.. it has it's share of problems....Also with the larger 1.8 the car is nose heavy and has a tendency to overstear.
Being of English design (no offense) and Kia make, the build quality is not as good as the S2K but personally... I think the Elan looks much better. Actually, my second son, when he first saw the car, asked me why the hell did I buy the s2k when I have such a pretty car back home... After I gave him a ride to 9000 revs... he changed his mind....

Use the alarm that pagers/calls you when it goes off. Then run outside every 15 min. be sure to carry your pal the bigg boy Glock. ohh sounded like I got carried away there sorry.
Also sorry to hear about that it makes me mad to hear when someone wants parts so bad they just steal it like that. I HATE theifs
