Well if any of you read the thread "How Fast is the Integra Type-R" you know how this came about. Lots of shit talking, and some special olympics style arguing and here we go.

the cars:

My bone stock 2002 S2000

vs.

Camuman's
2002 VW JETTA 1.8t 5M
BMC CDA intake:APR Chip(Stock,93 octane,Valet,Race, FCE/TB AM):
3" turboback:N75 Race Valve:ATP lower motor mount:
GFB DV/BOV:Neuspeed Lower IC pipe esiel Geek Race Shifter:PIAA Superwhites:Alien tech window controller:4 AIR HORNS IN PLACE OF STOCK HORN!!:Pioneer P1R with 6 channel PPI Amp

From what I understand we're gonna have some S4s get in on this, another BPU jetta which puts 2 cars on Camuman's jetta and a lightly modded type-r. Should be a good weekend of racing for the video camera! Finally some fun action.

This should be some great entertainment. I can see it now...

1.8T wins - VW guys say "we told you so" blah blah blah

S2K wins - S2K guys say "we told you so" blah blah blah

...then the bickering continues.

I can't wait!!

Wow... going to be nice since neither car can be beaten

Is this going to be road course action? drag racing? top end? from a kick?

BTW- I don't know Camuman, his car, or his ability...but gotta wager on the VW

it's gonna be from a stop, roll, and one highway roll to 140mph. All straight line racing.

That's just silly man...take it to the track. 140 on public roads is unnecessary. To prove what...that you can beat a Golf? Come on...

I understand how crazy that must sound to you guys, but I don't think you have ever ridden on this particular highway that connects the suburbs, nicknamed the autobahn. Tolled private highway road, perfect pavement, zero....i mean ZERO cars at night....no exaggeration. Every night on my way home from my girlfriend's I use it, and everytime I wind through 3rd and 4th gear and then cruise it at 135. Its impossible not to. You'll get a good look at just how desolate it is on the video.

I didn't know what kind of gas each was going to be running on, so I voted for the S2k........pump gas, I would say S2k, if race gas is accepted, Jetta is no doubt taking this one
