Valve Adjustment Tool Group Buy?
A few people have expressed interest in a tool similar to the one I had made and was using for the Tech Day. If there is enough interest (say, more than 10), I'll get several made up in bulk. While this tool is not necessary for the job, it makes it much easier, and is much easier to use than the Honda tool.
The target price will be between $20 and $30, I should be able to do that for <10. I'm also going to try and keep this local, so I don't have to ship.
I'll post a pic later on once I have a chance to take one. If anyone took a picture of the tool at the tech day, feel free to post.
Please express your interest by voting in the poll, I'll use that as the official tally.

I voted, but I also wanted to express my opinion on it. I have been adjusting valves for many years, and I haven't ever seen a tool that would make the job easier than Marcucci's. I looked at the one from Harbor Freight, and it does look beneficial, but it also looks flimsy and cheap.
If you don't get enough people interested, will you consider doing 1 or 2 at a higher price?

Honestly, the price for 10 will probably not be much lower than for only a couple. I will go ahead with whatever number we come up with. I'll also be opening this up to members of NTPOG, so... we should make at least 10, and that price should come down.

If you change your mind, I'm in. But if not, I wouldn't mind seeing a photo so I could try to make my own. Is it like the one they use on HorsePower TV? It's a single unit that allows loosening and tightening of the lock nut and the adjuster without taking the tool off?
Here's the pic:

The tool is approximately 6" on either side and unfinished. It will likely remain unfinished unless everyone wants the price to go up.
For whatever reason the link isn't working. Here it is:

Sorry. The screwdriver will not be included, I put it in there to show how the tool would be used. The tool holds the nut (or loosens/tightens it) and the screwdriver goes through to adjust the adjuster screw on the rocker. The Honda tool requires you hold 3 things instead of 2.
We now have over 10 people interested between NTS2KOC and NTPOG. I will go ahead with at least 20 of them and simply make them available. I will post back here when they are ready, and can bring them to the next meeting.
