Hey All,

I apologize in advance if this something everyone has already talked about, but I don't remember it being discussed before. A friend of mine at work who has an in at Honda turned me on to what he says is the next generation of the S2000! Honda is looking at the model year 2003/2004 to introduce an S2000 coupe that they will apparently be calling the S2200.

Here's a quote from the caption that ran under the picture, which was featured on a German Honda fansite:

" 'We will never make a Coupe

 

And I thought Honda was having a tough time with RWD, can't wait to see how AWD would hold up

 

It's definately a photshop job but it looks great, IMO. Honestly, had a choice of coupe or convertible been available, I would have opted for the coupe. Generally, coupes are less $$$.

Good to see what folks would have wanted had the choice been around!

 

I love the idea of the AWD (especially with the recent onset of rain here) but I just think the coupe just robs the S2000 of much of it's charm and personality.
