Here is my dream. How about a drive from Houston, Austin and San Antonnio. Ending somewhere in the middle of these three cities. Have lunch, check out our cars, and one heck of a huge photo op.

Anyway, this is just a thought, let me know if there is enough interest, several of us in Houston would be more than happy to try and put together. But I need input, to forget it or go for it.

Sounds like a great idea. It would be nice to have a nice round number of 100 Texas s2ks together at one time.

My dream is to do a mini cannonball from the furthest point east to the furthest point west in Texas or a one-lap of Texas with events at TWS, TMR, etc... I bet if we pulled it off we would get coverage in at least one of the main car mags.

Am I crazy or can this happen. Would probably take a loooong weekend to do it maybe 5 days with events. Just a thought.

 

In my experience, anything more than a day won't get much attendance. I'd be game, but without anything more to do than sit around, talk cars, and eat, I can't imagine that attendance will be stellar. Anyone know of any attraction somewhere in the middle of all of that?

 

Guadalupe river?? Float down the river etc... Of course Im thinking in the spring time.

Yes, something to do at the meeting area would be great. Ideas.

No, a large weekend type event is something that could be planned if this first one is a success.

I can speak for a large group of Houston S2K's to be there. If we can put 15 cars out on the backroads during a rainy day, I promise that many or more from Houston.
