Default Soft Top and Rain Run Off

Can anyone explain where the H2O goes? My 2002 S2000 is brand new and when I washed it, I noticed that the rear of the top is very well sealed but the lower leading edge by the doors seems to be set up as some sort of a drain to catch and then route the water away.
Where does it go? Is the drain all rubber, plastic? Does it ever clog up?
Thanks

Page 20-45 of the Owner's Service Manual shows it. It is a plastic funnel leading to a drain with a valve on the end. There likely will never be any clogging problems, unless there are severe circumstances. Washing you car will likely keep it flushed of dirt and all as well.

Hey Al, did you end up taking your soft top off for the Mugen hardtop?
