Perhaps frustrated by watching 2 other S2Ks enjoy the track at Sebring, while exiting the track along one of the old runways, Sondra decided to explore the limits of her car too. Result ... an offroad excursion and a very sandy car and Sondra. As Ole said, your antics were the highlight of the day.
Be sure to sign up for the next event on Dec 31 ( http://www.nsxflorida.com/ ), and lets keep all 4 wheels on the pavement, O.K.
Funniest thing I have ever seen! We are cruising out of the track, Joshua 1st, Sondra 2nd, and myself.
We get to a very wide section of track and I see the broom make a sharp right. I think playing racecar, warming up tires... cool. Then a sharp left, suspicions confirmed Then the unexpected, and even harder right and the sound of spinning tires.
She's gonna spin!
She is headed off road
I think I saw a telephone pole take a few steps back! Then a cloud of dust, a very large cloud. What emereges you ask, A S2000 looking backwards and Sondra with both arms victoriously in the air What a show!
Man you all crack me up! I've yet to spin in my car, but I have been close! I did a Sondra antic at the track (slide and overcorrect - twice), but I was able to regain control.
I think the first spin of my car will be a planned one at a driving school. I heard that they wet the track to make it easier to spin. It's part of the course.
Cool!
