Default Pick-up trucks.

Why doesn't Honda make pick-up trucks? They have everything else from lawn mowers... to, in the future, private jets. Why not pick-up trucks?

They are already in the works on one. I believe they said it should be ready for the 2005 model year.

They need an 8 cylinder motor first. I think they're developing one and I really hope it makes it into some of their luxury Acura cars and MOST IMPORTANTLY, the new NSX.

J J, I hear ya, I've been complaining about this for years.

If they do come to market with a truck, it should be interesting to see if they start with a small truck, or if they will have the courage to jump right into the full-size market with the big boys....

All I can say, is I have been VERY happy with my Nissans and will be getting the new Titan in a couple of years!

I was told at the NAIAS that they had made an agreement not to bring any pickups to North America for X number of years. They now have one in development for the US market.
