Red face An IE Run?

If we put an IE Run together, how many on here "WOULD" participate?

Here's a run we've done before...Not only was it scenic, but also alot of FUN and well worth repeating!! Some of the old timers may remember it from February 02...it was called the "Super Sunday 818 Run". It's well worth duplicating...

Date - March 19, 2006

IE Caravan
- Depart UV at 7:00am

Meet at Starbucks, by 9:00am

5422 Topanga Canyon Blvd.
Woodland Hills, CA 91367
(818) 340-5053

We'll realistically head out at 9:30.

Route:

1) North on TOPANGA CANYON BLVD/CA-27 towards CLARENDON ST by turning right.
0.2 miles
2) Turn LEFT onto BURBANK BLVD.
0.1 miles
3) Turn LEFT to take the US-101 NORTH/US-101 WEST ramp.
0.2 miles
4) Merge onto US-101 N.
9.3 miles
5) Take the KANAN RD exit.
0.2 miles
6) Turn LEFT onto KANAN RD.
0.2 miles
7) Start out going Southwest on KANAN RD towards AGOURA RD by turning right.
6.0 miles
8) KANAN RD becomes S KANAN DUME RD.
6.2 miles
9) Turn LEFT onto PACIFIC COAST HWY/CA-1.
17.8 miles
10) Turn into big parking lot just north of Santa Monica Pier.
END!

The route sounds like a good 45 minutes to an hour of fun. We should be able to finish up by around lunch time. We can even plan a little lunch in the Santa Monica area for those interested.

POSSIBLE PARKING FEE near Santa Monica pier:
0.75 cents for each half hour with a 6.00 max after 4:00pm

This is not an S2ki sponsored event...everyone is responsible for their own safety and abiding by all traffic laws.

Can I suggest a date? --> March 19th, Sunday.

I know it's a while until then but that's when I'll have time to go. Right now, we're in prime Midterm territory, so I'll be using my Sundays to study. Also, finals are just around the corner (The last one being on March 17th).

But if you guys wanna get this cruise going, by all means, don't wait for me. Besides, the Spugen meet would be the following weekend.

I really want to do this but can it wait till April? I'm really busy this month with quadding on weekends before it gets to hot. March 4th I have to be in Pechanga for a suprise b'day party for my best friend but maybe the 3rd Sunday of March would be good for me since i have to have the car show on the 3rd Saturday. That would probably work out with Bills schedule for me also. I might be gone the 4th weekend of March, dont know yet. LETS DO THE 3RD SUNDAY OK? AND IT BETTER NOT RAIN!!!

April?! No.

And we're being a little selfish aren't we; you have to do some quadding before it gets hot? So we're supposed to put OUR fun on HOLD while you get YOUR FUN?!
Am I clear on that?
