What is the meaning of life?
Hey guys,
As inteligent as I think you all are, especially Marcos... (Someone give that boy a badge and a gun!) I wanted to know some of your input, even Marcos.
We all know
time = money
therefore wasted time = wasted money...
Lately life has lost it's jive and thrill. Maybe, I just got sucked into the white collar society and now spend my "exciting" days going to work 9-5. I know most people would say, at our current economic stand point having a job is something to be happy about. I just miss the hustle of making money. Working at an hourly position, means that no matter if you work efficiently or aimlessly you still receive the same hourly rate. Seems boring, or is it something in my head. Is this what life has to offer for the years to come, or am i missing something.
Is this just me, or do others share my frustration. Chime in.

Well, straight out of high school, I've had the hectic life of an upcoming businessman who is also attending college. Unless I can find a way to make sure my business prospers and my parents don't have to work another day of their lives, I feel like life is going to be a waste from the point I realize failure is inevitable.
To answer your question, I feel that making money creates a good mood. I can honestly say that money does buy happiness, and no, I'm not referring to spending an hour with a prostitute; as a matter of fact, if I feel like I can't buy happiness with the money I'm making, there's no need to live life, now is there?

)
anyway, don't be emo! work sucks but after 5 and after fighting traffic hour
, do something you enjoy! if you feel tired after work, grab some caffeine or something healthy for natural energy or hell even some booze, and go out with some friends
detailing my car is my medicine (but by looking at the swirls and sandpaper finish on my car you can tell i haven't been taking my "medicine" lately
)

I honestly hate money and what it represents.
I made a fair amount for a few years(70k), and it made me no happier.
What did make me happier was that i was actually contributing to society in some fashion. I was happy to work, even though it wasnt always great. Take a look at most humanitarian careers, they dont make good money, but are still happy with life because they are doing something thats important to themselves.
Im currently in a flip-flop situation on deciding my major; so this topic has mulled over and over in my head. I need to decide soon though because i dont wanna waste time and money on a direction i dont wanna go.

money does not automatically= happiness Umar no offense but i think you are just young and naive but its ok i used to think the same way
I've been working since i was 16 and have always made decent money to buy things that i enjoy and i am very grateful for that but that has never necessarily made me happy
i had a kid 6 months ago and although i'll admit i wasn't necessarily ready for that he makes me happy everyday
i used to think by buying things and having all the cool new shit that that would make me happy but at the end of the day that stuff doesn't really do anything for you its just for status and for an appearance

money cant buy true companionship
Its not really the money issue that bothers me... Its more of the lines of repetition of daily blah...
9-5 means a constant flow of $$$
the hustle means varied flow of $$, but can be limitless. I need a side job i think...
Its more of the likes of doing the same s#$!@ everyday.
