$35k for a 16k-mile S2000...?!
Hey! I've owned two S2Ks in my life so far. I sold and got a 135i and a Cayman to replace it, and I regret selling the S2000! The shifter feel keeps me coming back.
My new question is, what do you think of $35k for a 2001, two-owner S2000 with no accidents and all 10 vin stickers? Seems almost too good to be true, right? I've seen them for over $40k with 25k miles, so this feels like a crazy deal.

@raydouble - I don’t know that it seems too good to be true as in many cases values dropped off a bit from 2022 levels. Have a look at Bring a Trailer where these cars tend to draw the most money. With all other factors being equal (mileage, condition, color, etc.), early AP1 cars (2000, 2001) tend to sell for less than the later AP1 cars (2002, 2003). While most AP1 cars in general tend to sell for less than the AP2 cars. Strangely, one of the biggest factors when it comes to S2K values is the car’s color. All that said, it seems likely that these cars will continue to increase in value so now is probably a better time to buy rather than waiting a year or more. And over time I would think that factors such as the year model of the car will begin to matter less and less, so this would seem like an even better time to purchase an AP1 model in particular if that is what you are after.
