Default 02 Blue S2K help

I am about to buy a car, and I was thinking of getting 07 Civic Si, and then I saw a blue 2002 S2000 with 53,1xx miles on sale for 21K at the lot. It was a clean car, no dings, scratches nothing...clean...
I test drove the Si, and it was fun as hell...I made an appointment to check out the S2K this weekend, and I'm really interested in buying it... I haven't test driven it yet, but I have been in a 03 s2k and it was awesome! lol...

Does that sound like a good price?
How is the 02 S2000 in comparison to the 07 Si? The car is going to be my daily driver so I want a car that is fun to drive buy is also not a pain, and is reliable.
Is their anything particular I should look for when I check out the S2K?

Thanks a lot guys for the help!

well, i'll start off by saying that the s2k is much more fun than the si, hands down. i drove a new si a while back. yeah, it was a fun car, but nothing compared to an S!now, if you want something that is fun, i'd go with the S. but the si does have more room and is more practical. but i say screw all that, and enjoy the s2k!! if you dont have kids, go for it. now for price, that seems a tad bit high. my first S was an 03, picked it up from a honda dealer for 23k, it had 29k miles, lip, brand new oem tires, it was mint. that was back in november 05. anyways, the call is yours, but i'm pretty sure you'll have your answer after the s2k test drive

lol...yeah, I've ridden in a 03 S2K, and 06 one. It was amazing as a passenger, especially after he reved it past 6K. I cant wait for the test drive!
How much storage space is in the inside?
I mean I'm in college, and don't have kids, but is their enough room in the front?
And how's the stock sound system like? (lol the stock exhaust sounds insane)

yeah, the exhaust is probably one of the best i've heard outta 4 cyl's. there is 'some' room up front. but with a passenger, your limited to the rear center glove box, secret compartment, and of course the trunk. which, for this small car, it has a decent sized trunk(it can actually fit a golf club bag!). now, on the 06/07's, where the average car has a glove box, there is a compartment with 4 sections, good for holding little things.

oh, and for the sound system, honda made it better through the years:
00-01, has only 2 door speakers
02-03, updated head unit, 1 tweeter added in each door
04-05, updated head unit again
06-07, might have an update head unit also, not sure....buuut, they added 4 tiny speakers in the roll hoops, which honestly, work! makes for better sound when the top is down. oh, and the 06/07 radios are xm ready, not sure if the 05's are.

i'm 6'1", 230 lbs., and i fit in perfectly(almost f1 like ), but thats with the seat all the way back. all the 05 and belows had a pocket behind the seats, enough to hold a map, magazine, etc. theres also some space underneath the seats. you'll see when you do your test drive.

ps-be easy with the car when driving it at first, especially if the roads are slippery. you should definitley get on it, to see what it has, but make sure its in a straight line
