Post 05 or 07?

Hey guys,

Just wanted to get some opinions on what I should do. I have the choice of buying a 2005 Honda S2000, Red(eh..) with 23k for $22,900 with Extended warranty or get a 2007 Honda S2000, White(my fav. color on s2000) for $30,540. With the money I saved I will probably buy a turbocharger + some other goodies, but then again I already have a FI g35 pushing over 425 whp. So I probably just want a fun convertible to drive around in San Diego cuz of the perfect weather, but I know the mod bug will hit me sooner or later. Just wondering what would you guys pick? Thanks!!

Well you have more options with the 05. The MY06 and MY07 is new to the market. Comptech just came out with a s/c kit for the MY06, and there are a few people here that have turbo's on there 06's.

I used to have a black 05, but sold it to get my favorite color White MY06. So what im trying to say is buy what you want so you dont kick yourself everytime u see a GPW.

get what you really want. otherwise, you're going to spend all that time modding a car you didnt want in the first place. then you end up parting it out to get a stock version of the color you really wanted.

I really dont think red is a bad color. Actually it might be something different then wat everything else has. You always see white, black, silver, grey. I just wanted to know which price do you think you would take. New or Used

You should go with the color you really want. White was my first choice and yellow was a close second. I waited for the deal I wanted and got a yellow. But if a different color S came along in a color I didn't like (for the same deal), I probably wouldn't have done it.

Both of em are good deals, IMO.
But if you're going FI for sure, I'd say go w/ the 05.

The best time to buy a used car is at the 2-year point. You really get the best deal.

That said, I'm a firm believer in getting the color that you like best. You'll find that living with a car when you wish you had a different color is like having the wrong girlfriend.
