Well last summer my 06 DC5 Type S got t-boned by this old couple. I've been outta the tuner scene for awhile and I'm wanting to get into it again. I drive the wife's SI which reminds me of my DC5, but what got me on this site was watching this YouTube video of this AP1 (ALL MOTOR) spank a turbo G35. I was impressed at the 03 S2K. I was doing a little reading and found the 03 was the best year? I'm a all motor fan, but never driven a RWD car before, but I wanted a G35 for the longest, but I'm a Honda man and I love Honda's.

I've owned 2 DC5's and now the 09 Si.. So from my understanding the 05+ have the better cams, BUT the 03 has the better redline and is lighter and slightly faster?

I'm also looking to run K-Pro as well so my best bet would be getting a AP1 I'm assuming correct?

 

Kpro works well on all of them. 00-05 are probably the best though for kpro.

You won't get much out of an all motor s2k, they are fairly maxed out from the factory. You'll get better results with FI from 04 and up from the increased displacement. Some people just really like the 9k rpms of the 00-03
