Default 07 Test Drive

I just sold my supercharged RSX. I went to Keys Honda in socal and test drove a Laguna Blue. The car has 6 miles on it and the salesman redlined it out of the parking lot before even letting it warm up. He was driving very aggressively to impress me but all I can think about was I'm not getting this one. He pulled over to let me drive so I hit VTEC a few times. The S2K is beautiful and of course handles way better than my old front wheel drive. The car drives very nice but feels a lot slower than I had expected. I told the sales manager that the car feels slow and he said maybe because of the air pressure and heat, whatever. I told them that another honda dealer gave me a quote of $28K and he said how about $26K. He told me to sit down and we can make a deal on the silver, blue, and red that he has in inventory. Of course he was just trying to get me to stay. I told him that I want GPW and nothing else.

Too bad you didn't like the Laguna (it's the fastest color), but $26k for an 07

I don't think they would actually sell me the car for $26k. They were just trying to get me to buy the car today. I'll contact them soon to see what's up

maybe they are trying to meet their monthly goals. More cars sold means increase percentage earned on their commission whether negative or not. If you can get it for 26K +TTL, I'd jump on it

That is one hell of a deal, I would buy it, but I'd wait first and see the changes of the 2008 S2000..

Hey bro, keep in mind that 07 is not at its full potential yet. You have to drive it long enough to let the DBW learn the car. I test drove a new 07 (I have an 05 atm) and I asked the salesman why the accel was so much less than mine. He let me drive a used 06 and there was a huge difference.

$26k???....i hate you -.-

PM Pierceman for your color and a good price. 26K I think is BS. If not buy the one you hammered prior to break-in.
