Default 08 CR Apex Blue - is it worth it?

Hi All, I'm new here Looking for some advice. I've been on the hunt for a CR and I've found one. Apex blue w/ AC.

The CarProof/Fax shows that it was imported form the states (I'm in Canada). Looks like it's been through 4/5 ownership changes with about 3 of them being dealers - so 2 end-drivers.

It has a minor accident reported, repairs valued at $2000. Car looks like it is in pretty good condition, going to be taking my mechanic with me to take another look at it shortly.

It is listed at $40k CAD (=30K USD) w/ 125k km (77k miles).

What are your thoughts? Anything specific I should look out for/look for?

I would assume that if this was listed in any state, given the mileage, given the popular color, and given that it is a CR, it would sell fairly quickly. I realize that it has an accident, but I would think that the cost of repair being as low as stated, the damage couldn't have been that severe. Check your panel vins.
If you were going to import this yourself, the cost would be 50% greater given import duties, dollar exchange and taxes, none of which are avoidable. That would cost you at least 5 grand more depending on the purchase price.
If it's what you want, then it's worth it to you. If it was me, and it checked out, I would jump all over it. When was the last time you saw a AB CR in Canada?

Wow. One great thing about the forums is it isn't too hard to dig up stuff like this if you know what to look for. Consider yourself lucky!
