Hey everyone,
I have just purchased a 2005 Black S2000 with 67000 miles on it. I am all smiles and it seems like a really good car, but so far i have spent more time cleaning than driving. I do not have an owners manual so i will have lots of questions. First dumb question is about the top. This is my first convertible and i want to protect the top. Although the top looks like fabric i have read it might be vinyl. Can vinyl tops look like fabric on the exterior surface.

Welcome, use 303 protectant to help keep that vinyl top looking new.

Welcome, our tops do look like a fabric top, but are in deed vinyl. Look for 303 at hardware stores or marine supply stores in your area if you have them. Or it's available on-line.

Thanks everyone. I am definitely going to get some 303 product for vinyl. I definitely wanted to make sure i used the right product. 303 website shows a retailer within 30 miles, so that sounds like a good excuse for a little roadtrip.
