I guess the C6 Z06, the 996tt, M3, M5, etc are no fun at all... Welcome to the 21st century my friend.

I was in the exact same boat as you. What it comes down to is PERSONAL preference. Here was mine decision based on the following order of importance:

#1. Must have GPW and the 2 toned black/tan is way better than all black interior. In fact, almost all 06 colors basically have all black and the monotone screams boring.

#2. Like the loop headrest much better than the 06 filled headrest. 06 looks like a regular car seat and that headrest (probably more comfortable) screams boring and un-roadster like.

#3. 98% of the times you are driving, VSA will not be engaged so that option is a waste and takes up weight. In the 2% chance it does come on like in the rain - well, I'd never drive in the rain or even if I'm caught in a storm I'd drive so carefully the VSA would never be needed. S2K is all about FUN and VSA/traction control/DBW takes away from the whole spirit

#4. Like the 05 rims, steering wheel better than the 06.

In fact, there's practically NOTHING about 06 I like. But that doesnt mean you or anyone else don't like it. It's all personal, pick the one more suitable for YOU.

I hear you man. I really think I've made my decision now. I just hope there were some 05 left over. The one bright side I see is that it will probably most likely be reduced price, which is nice... lol.

Another question... now that the S2K is not going to be produced anymore after 2006, do you think dealerships will raise the prices?
