2005 berlina black
Hi my name is David and I just bought myself a S off a forum member here :] and I'm really happy with the car it was 36,000 miles for $14,800. The only thing I'm concerned about is either the clutch or the tranny. shifting feels really weird like it's not smooth. and after a good amount of driving (20 miles or more) the clutch vibrates like crazy. Maybe I'm being bi-est cause I owned a 2008 civic SI before this and shifting was really smooth (new car). Any opinions about what I should replace? Either new clutch or tranny oil? or even slave cylinder. well anyway I'm going to be around in this forum for a while and will try to attend as many SoCal meets as possible.

Welcome and congrats!
The s2k has direct linkage into the tranny, while the Civic has cable or push-rod linkage. The Civic may feel "smooth" but it's vague compared to the s2k. That may be what you are noticing.
Post up in you local s2ki forum and make it out to a meet. Try out a couple other s2k trannies to see if they are any different than yours.

I have the same experience when i picked up my 2002 AP1 with 32K miles, the clutch wasn't smooth so I changed the transmission fluid and differential. The problem seems to ease a bit. But I later sold the car and picked up a 03 AP1 with 6k miles, I notice a big difference in the clutch. My conclusion is that the previous owner wasn't so kind to the clutch.
