3 years ago, in search of a car to replace my MR2 Spyder, I first came here. Instead of buying an S however, I ended up with a 2003 Super Black Nissan 350Z Track.

Finally I've decided that the Z is not the car for me either. While the Z has proven that it's fast, extremely capable, and solid - I just don't find it all that much fun to drive. The Z really seems to take over for the driver and make everything easy, and it's hard to feel "at one" with the car.

So, with my past car experiences I realized that the things I long for again are:
*The top down, hair ruffling, roadster excitement. (MR2)
*The feel of the car being one with it's driver. (MR2)
*High rev engine that pulls hard all the way to redline. (NSX)

With those things in mind, there is only one option. S2000!. Right now it looks like I'll be driving home a 2006 Laguna Blue S2000 by the end of the week

Jason, welcome (back) to s2ki.com. I wish you well in your quest. Zs are nice cars, but S2000s are special. I think you'll agree.

I picked up the car after work today, and what a way to end a day driving home with the top down.

FABULOUS car, I'm going to have a great time with this thing

We have no doubts, Jason. You have lots of wonderful PacNW owners out there in your neck of the woods. Get active with the regional forum; you'll love those guys!
