Default $500 over invoice, good?

Well, I've been missing my S2000 for the past few years, and the dealership I bought my original one from has a Laguna Blue one in stock, and the salesman I bought my first one from said he'd sell it to me for $500 over invoice. Is this a good price? I haven't really been keeping track of what the cars are going for now.

But, this is Laguna Blue! Arguably, the hottest color for the S2k period. I wouldn't mind paying $1500 over dealer cost for it.

Unless somone has gotten a better deal for the Laguna Blue (please post), I would think this is an excellent deal.

I think dealer holdback is $750 on the car.

I had a good friend that's a honda salesman offer to sell me an 06 for $100 over invoice. I trust that he offered me a good deal. check kbb.com and other sites for the invoice price. I think it's in the 29/30 range.

Bought mine LBP on 11/25 even when the car has not been delivery to the dealer lot yet. Got it for $300 over invoice and NO dealer fee. Car + 6.5% Fl. sale tax + tag+ $6.50 BS fee = $33,503 OTD . Hope this help. Good luck... and oh yeah LBP is the hottest color.

I have seen the color in person. It would be worth ever dime, hottest S2000 color yet.

I think if you can get a new one anywhere near 30 - 31K (before TTL), you're doing really well. In some areas, the laguna color is in higher demand and commands a bit of a premium -- in others it's no sweat.

Yes, in any case, check the pricing thread: https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=350264

I've tried to keep pricing stuff merged into that thread for folks' benefit. Hope it's helpful to you.

I recently got my06 GPW for around 30,700 not including destination + ttl. Out the door was around 34,000.

You can do better but this was the lowest internet quote I got. I went to another dealer showed them if they could match the price and they did.

Virtually no haggle and for the most part stress free.

I love the blue, but I've always wanted a white S2K.

Good luck on your purchase!
