Hey all my name is Mark and I live in NJ and I'm a soon to be new S2000 owner (new to me that is). I've loved the S2000 since it hit the streets but it was never a reasonable replacement for my Prelude for a number of reasons. Well after 5 years of no payments and 9 years of ownership and 174k miles it was time for the next car. I watched ebay for weeks as well as local autotrader ads and didnt find too much that excited me, and usually the ones I did seemed like something was a little sketchy. So I broke down and spent a little more then I anticipated and bought this.

Mike seems to be a solid owner who really cared for the car and its in great shape inside and out. The mods he's done are well done, noting hacked, and stuff I would've like to have done (the SC) but would've never spent the money doing. The nice thing about web boards is you can search all the posts by a seller and see if there's any of the threads that start with.... "So I missed a shift and now my car makes a weird noise" or "I was racing a Porche and Mustang GT and hit a curb". He was up front about everything and the price was excellent for the mods and mileage of the car.

I pick it up a week from tomorrow

I've bought a california car cover, helm manual, and a few other little pieces like a front license plate bracket since they're not needed in PA.

I've been a lurker for a long time and only have already learned volumes from this board.

Welcome aboard!

I think you'll find the S to be quite a change from the Prelude. I owned three different generations of 'ludes, loved them all, but the S2000 is in a different league.

I hope you like the supercharger. Since the car you're getting isn't stock, I can't say whether you'll love it or not ( ), but you can always revert back to stock or try your own mods. That's the beauty of buying used and saving the $$.

Smart move! And enjoy!!!

Looks like a great deal. I would recommend getting a front lip.

I plan to, I want to get used to parking it for a couple months first so I dont start smashing it into parking curbs. An OEM hardtop, eibachs, and the small OEM rear spoiler will finish it off. I'll do tint and springs first, and then maybe the spoiler and lip together the next year etc... No rush in blowing $$$ on it, I'll have plenty of fun as it is.

Yea I didnt push it as hard as Mike did on the test drive but it was obvious it had serious balls and then the oomph in VTEC was nuts. Totally unnecessary for me coming from the Prelude but I'm sure I'll get used to that after a while.
