hello, first off id like to say hello to all of the community and second, i am about to buy a s2000. i wanted to ask and post here about some concerns as i have looked into them but would love some input of owners of them. anyways the 02 im looking at has 168k on it.(high i know) but price is just under 8. paint is in nice shape. its the light blue kinda silver color. also has black leather and top is in nice shape. runs really well pulls strong. but i would love some imput if i could get some. (im a vw guy) so im used to maintenance every damn day... is there somthing i should look out for? and i will pro daily it in the summer. winter if i have to drive it i will. thanks Jesse

Listen for the timing control tensioner tick.really loud ticking when u start it up or at idle. Also Do a pull in third gear from 30 mph if you feel any vibration in the seats it's the rear axles. Do a compression check if possible to. Make sure no check engine lights. Last things is our s2s are awesome and they need little maintaince but when they do some off the parts are expensive. I just recently got my clutched changed on my ap1 so ask when the clutch was changed. Peace and good luck
