Advice as to how much to pay for an 06
Hey all,
Looking to get an 06 S2k and trade in my 04 STI. I live in South Fl. Any advice as to much I should expect on trade in/ how much I should try to haggle for? Thanks

At this time of the year ... I would say invoice is a good place to start the negotiation.
It's at the end of 2006, and the 2007 models are out (your car has aged 1 year on paper already). Also, it's winter -- convertibles (or even sports cars in general) don't sell as well during winters. Finally, I believe S2000 sales have been declining.
With all that said, if the dealer is desperate to sell the car, they might be able to cut below invoice.

me and a fellow new englander just recently bought new 06 laguna blues in dealers in mass. He got his for about 30,453 OTD with a prelude trade in worth 10000, I got mine for 30,303 OTD with no trade in. When you negotiate for price, dont tell them you have a trade in until you get the price you want.
