hi guys

i'm sara and i'd like to introduce myself, even though i've been a member here just shy of 4 years.

a little back story: i've wanted an S2000 since they introduced it back in the day. in 2002 my mum bought an 02 NFR S2000 and i worked for honda for 2 years back in 03-04 so i had to be around S2000s constantly. my previous cars were:

1998 civic coupe
2003 rsx 5spd
2006 rsx type-s

and i now have this beautiful baby:







she's an 01, 32k miles, red/black on gpw (if you couldn't tell!)
a few mods.. 17" volk ce28n's w/ nitto 555's, oem front lip and side strakes.. and an ap2 wing that i have since removed.

i need new hardtop strikers (insane wind noise!!), new side markers (the ones put on the car are turning yellow and are super ugly!), and the little license plate hole caps. those are in the mail tonight i am switching to 17" work emotions with the concave rears and am also picking up a bys rear lip spoiler.

i am enjoying this car so much.. it feels so good to drive an S2000 that is ALL MINE! and one that i only paid $17k for

Welcome to S2KI and congrats on the car. I think I wanna meet this mom of yours with her own S! I was just glad growing up that my mom hated stations wagons, vans, and minivans so she always had big trucks.

I woulda traded any one of em for an S!

 

anybody else find it ironic that teknickcian and I have the same birthday, and both live in north texas?? crazy.

 

haha well, she traded in her S in december of 05. she replaced it with a 2006 bmw 330ci ZHP. pretty car
