Congrats on the purchase. Just curious how long you were looking? I'm approaching two months now and I'm starting to get a bit impatient.

Don't give up! It's well worth the wait.

OP - still smiling after 2 weeks. It's true what they say - the smiles don't go away. Safe driving.

I know he's been looking since at least the beginning of February. I believe I waited/searched/debated for several months as well. Actually, I wanted one ever since I first heard about them in 1999. Fell in when I first saw one in person in 2000 or maybe 2001. Finally started seriously looking and taking test drives during the summer of 2004, then purchased in late August of 2004.

yeah, julie's about right. feburary is about when i starter really searching. back when they first came out and i saw the NFR ap1 in the honda catologue, i knew i wanted one. couldnt afford it at the time (wasnt even driving, i was 14 or 15), and am just now able to justify a two seater. i got no kids, just me and the gf, and ive got a company car if i need a bit of room.

I honestly did get a bit impatient. I had my heart set on an 02-03 suzuka. those babies are hard to come by, especially for a good price/condition, and close enough to me.

when i first drove this car, they had it priced at 21900. i just wanted to drive it to see how it felt. i kept checking with them to see if the price had dropped, and steadily it did. saw it sittin at one of the dealers other lots, adn decided to call to check the price again. they said it was goin in the paper the next day for 14,900. i went down the next day, and talked them down another 2 grand, and drove it off the lot. i cant be more happy! the car is in great shape. no paint chips that ive seen, except on the plastic bumper plugs. only has one very very small dent that isnt really noticed at all on the passenger fender. top works great, but the elastic bands are worn out. plastic window is a bit cloudy, but not creased. i just cant wait to find a tunnel to do some good ole fashioned top down vtec'n!

this post got alot longer than i intended. i guess it just shows how happy i am!
