I am finally the proud owner of a s2000!

I'll keep the omg I'm so excited statements to myself since you guys probably heard enough of that kind of stuff.

It's a 2002 Berlina. Here are some quick pictures I snapped with my phone.

There is one little thing that bothers me. My car only has about a 2 finger gap, and I was starting to wonder if it has been lowered or not. Is a 2 finger gap normal for stock ap1s?

Congrats, and yes, I believe there's a two finger gap for all S2000s that are not lowered.

Thanks for the reply but for some reason the more I look at pictures of stock s2000s I think mine is lowered. Is there a way to tell without lifting up the car?

Congrats and welcome. Tires can have an effect on the look, as some has squarer shoulders than others but two fingers sounds normal. Aftermarket springs are often a different color (ie yellow, red, etc) depending on the manufacturer. Stock springs are black. You can see them thru the wheel spokes.

Thanks for the responses guys. I was originally planning on adding an oem lip, but I already scrap on a lot of bumps and driveways, which is why I'm wondering if it has been lowered or not. I just hope the previous owner didn't cut the springs or something.

Update: I took a look and the springs are green. I'm guessing they are teins, but just in case, are any other springs green?
