All hail the pale blue unicorn.
Well, I finally did it. I got an S2000. I finally get to sit in a
worhty seat. I get to stick the key in the ignition, turn it, then reach my finger over to the red 'Engine Start' button, press it in, and fall in
every time I drive.
Coming from this -

Leila, a 1996 V6 Mustang with over 200,000 miles on her, then a slight upgrade to this -

Ebony, a 95 GT (with Cobra body parts).
Now, finally, 10 years after reading the January 1998 issue of Road & Track featuring the 1999 Honda SSX, the 'Boxster Beater,' I can proudly say I own the sexiest car in production. Ladies and gentlemen, meet Pumpkin. AKA, the pale blue unicorn.

I had to get a convertable, both my brothers have them.

And in red, white, and blue. (ok... maroon, silver, and pale blue)
Now for the reason behind unicorn. After a long drive the DAY AFTER I GOT IT, I put the top up to find this, my first mod. A tiny little sunroof -

After galloping around, she showed her disdain for closing the top, and poked a hole in it with her horn.
Well, that's about it peoples. Hope to have many more happy motoring miles ahead. All you guys drive safe.
One last thing... SOOOOO JDM.

Yes this has been my favorite color combo since I saw it. Blue is my favorite color, and this car obviously oozes it.
I paid 17,995. It might be a tad high, but the car was attracting alot of perspective buyers so I didn't want to press my luck jewing the price down, and I was willing to pay a bit more for the colors I've always wanted, and the low miles. Mileage was 27,450 when I got her. I also know the car was taken care of, as the previous owner was a dentist that my parents knew. He traded it in for a Viper lol. I made the deal at Brennan Dodge Jeep & Chrysler located in Ruston, LA, about an hour east of Shreveport. The dealership was very nice, and the salesman even met me there one sunday so I could have an extended solo drive around town. I absolutely fell in love with the car, and then Thursday I signed the papers, and drove her off the lot.
:edit: Shotgunjimmy! I notice that you're in the ark-la-tex area as well, and an enthusiast. I hope you have luck in finding an S for yourself. If you're looking, there is an S that agent.marshall pointed out to me in Shreveport. It is located at ORR Nissan on Bert Kouns, and is an AP2 Suzuka Blue with an OEM lip and wing. It is absolutely gorgeous.

Haha, I was a little afraid about overpaying, but really, only the person footing the bills (me) can say if they've overpayed, and in my opinion, you can't put a price on driving your dream.
And the one in Shreveport they were asking right at 22K I believe. But they would probably tell you $20,600.
