Allow myself to introduce myself
Hey everybody,
I've been lurking here like everybody else until I'm worthy enough to post.
I scored a great deal on the car we all know and love this past weekend, so now I feel I can post up.
I've been a motorcycle guy my whole life (40 long years.) Road raced for a number of years, but mainly motorcyles have been my source of transportation always. Sportbikes of course. I like the corners, and could care less about going fast in a straight line.
Suddenly in the past year I acquired an interest in cars. The Honda caught my eye, even though I'm a Suzuki guy when it comes to two wheels. I guess I just like good stuff. (Not that Honda makes bad bikes, don't want to piss anybody off yet)
Anyways, the wife got more excited about it then me after our first test drive a couple months ago. It's all we've talked about, so finally I got on-line and worked a bunch of dealers to find the deal I wanted and the rest is history.
We have been laughing like a couple of school kids ever since. The best part is she has given me shit for the past 10 years over speeding tickets and such, never understanding why I couldn't just slow down. Now she's talking about how many cars she pased in the turn-out of the canyon road that makes up the first 10 miles of our daily 25 mile commute. I can't wait until she gets her first ticket...
We commute together twice a week, and the rest of the time I'm on the bike, so don't flame me for sharing the car. It's fun watching her turn into a gear head, talking about rpm's and what not.
Anyways, thanks to everybody for everything I've learned here. You helped me to get a great deal on a great car and I look forward to all the good stuff ahead.
viva la.

Thanks for the welcome everybody.
Boosted: 600RR is an awesome bike. If your a first time rider, definitely consider doing a MSF new rider course. Not only can it save you a couple bucks on your insurance, It can save your skin.

It sure sounds like you are going to have to remind the wife to contain herself there
