Always loved the looks of the S2000!
IM just a noob whos always enjoyed the S200's and happened upon one of the Florida meets on youtube last night and found this site. I own 2 Honda Preludes a 01 and a 91si and of course had a few Accords back in the day so in my trips to the dealers over the years always admired the S2000's. Especially enjoy the deep blue one they made, wow.... Love blue as my 01 lude is the rare one in Electron Blue pearl. Anyhow, came on here to enjoy the pics and read up on info. I always heard rumors of an S3000 to come out but I think its scrubbed now? You guys would know more than I would, I tried to google search it but no results. Just images of sketches. Since im in the Panhandle area of Florida *Pensacola* I might have to go check some vehicles out sometime at a meet, Take care and thanks for the good forums.

THanks yall, Ill post em up side by side when I get a chance. Darn, kinda hoping to wait to see the new s3000 cause ive been looking for a new fun car for sometime this year. The crz is trash and they nerfed it with no power
Was hoping they would come back out with a new sports car that would push close to 300hp! lol Might have to start eye'in me a royal blue s2000 as I love them, and yet I told myself I wouldnt buy another car, lol seriously do I really need a 3rd car?

Damn, that makes me miss my 5th gen base, NBP (black is the fastest) ,5 speed. I loved my MY01 Prelude. Now that I am in my 5th year of ownership of the S2000, I can honestly say, the S2000 addresses the few things that I hated about the prelude
RWD
Lighter
hydrolic actuated clutch
Huge aftermarket parts backing
Funny thing, when I bought my prelude there was a brand new AP1 on the showroom, at first it didn't really catch my eye, it was a convertible, plus the sticker price was $35k for the car that included a market adjustment markup.
Then a buddy of mine let me drive his S2000 and I was hooked, bought mine a month later.

Welcome. A little while back, one of the car mags did something on the next gen S but it seemed to be 90% hype / 10% fact. There are some posts up here somewhere, prolly over in car talk. Great time to buy, prices are low loww lowwww.
Thanks for the link, I saw that somewhere before, always loved honda sports cars but they just seem to be failing as of late. Im 30 now and grew up in the 90s civic days and when they had so many sports cars to choose from, now were stuck with just the Civic Si and supposed to be happy? I love the civic but common, give us something with 300hp now that all the other cars are up there! Id love to see an S3000 hit in say 2 years and come out boasting around 300, id throw down on it because im old enough to afford that now! lol Ive been surfin ebay at the Laguna blue S2000s but dont think im ready to buy another car till around the summer, when I look at finances, I dont want to jump into another payment till I owe nothing at all, because we never know how things will end up in the future!
I did see a laguna in the past being sold for like 16 or 17k! I think thats a good deal so if it got cheaper than that, Id jump on it!
