Just picked up my 04 S2000

All I want to do to it is add a OEM lip and maybe a hardtop, want to keep it stock.

anyone know where to order a OEM lip? handa-accessories.com is around 400 shipped is that a ok deal?

anyone in the Atlanta area, know of a good body shop? the rear fenders is pushed in slightly and doesnt line up with the rear bumper...thanks again!

 

congrats on the new purchase you can also look @ hardtopguy.com for some goodies as well.

 

From reading info on this site I have learned that the fenders/bumpers not lining up is a design flaw. You may be able to get Honda to fix this for you if your car is still under warranty. Congrats on the car - nice color!

I live in NY, and I was going to get an S2000 from a dealer in VA (I wanted an 04 or 05 model in April of 06). I found the red/black interior that I wanted, and put down a 500 dollar deposit on the used 2005 with super low mileage. Then in a few days, I found a brand new 2005 in MD. MD is closer, and the prices aren't much different. So I figured, what the heck, why bother going further (another few hrs of drive going one way to VA than to MD!) when I could get a new car from a closer dealer.

This means that I had 500 bucks sitting in the VA dealership. The front lip was the closest thing for the price range that I could get from a Honda dealer (I didn't want anything else at that time, nor do I need another Honda). So I had to pay the full 500 dollar retail price for the front lip.
