Another New Guy
I just purchased a brand new 2005 GPW S2000 last Friday. I've wanted one ever since they came out, but couldn't afford one till now. I'm sure I'll be asking some stupid newbie questions later, but for now I have just been reading everything I can. Anyway, just wanted to introduce myself and thank everyone for the awesome info on this site.

Welcome, you probably got one of the last 05 GPW/Tan cars left out there. There will be no more with that color combination. The Tan interior was discontinued for 06. For some reason Honda doesnt make that many GPW cars.

And thanks for the warm welcome all, I love this car more and more every day I drive it.

That was my main reason for buying an 05' instead of and 06'. I love the look of the GPW/Tan. I just hope it's not too hard to keep clean.

Good Luck!!
Welcome to S2KI!
Read the owners manual - front to back - be sure to check oil at every gas fill, keep car below 5K rev till 600 mile, and use that 600 mile to get use to rear wheel drive if you have never driven RWD before.
Have you found the secret compartment? Have you found the gas lid release?
And congrats on the new car.
