Default Anyone heard of a 'pro-pack' from a dealer?

Dealer is giving me a car at invoice, but said as the car as splashguards, cargo net and locknuts it is going to be $495

Seems like BS to me.

Thoughts?

He is BS'ing you. The Cargo net and Lock nuts are both dealer add ons. The splashguards, if they are what I think they are, are stock.

There is a black splash guard infront of all wheels. It is about 2" long. They are stock. But what the dealer is refering to I have no clue. He could be refering to the OEM part and then he could be refering to something else. Either way, tell them to remove them and you will take the car.

Just say you don't want them, they didn't come from the factory. "Take them off, or NO DEAL"

"Pro-Pack" is a term used by many different dealerships to mean many different things. At my dealership we used to call "Pro-Packs" an environmental protection package with a warranty. We call the items your dealer has "Addendum" items; which are dealer installed items to help the parts department out. They're typically not the most desired items, and $495 is very expensive for the items you listed.

I'm moving this to the introductions section because knowing what "Pro-Packs" are is good info for new buyers

If you have to take the $495 "Pro-Pack" as part of the deal ask them what they can throw in extra.

A cargo net in an s2k trunk??? I can't even imagine how (and if) it could serve any purpose.

Thanks,
Richard

I have the Honda one, and it keeps things down in the recessed well while cornering. Not at all a bad thing.

Yep I believe the ProPack is called ProProfit in most businesses.
The wheel locks and the cargo net will run you max $ 90.00 and the splash guards are already on the car. Honda does not make any other guards for this car.
Say thanks but no thanks.
By the way what deal did you end up getting? Financing I mean.
